Birth of a Quilt {part 1}

They say that quilts are a labor of love.

Here is the birthing process!

Starts with this {yummy prepped fabric}...

gets cut up-the most tedious part- and laid out like this

and then fast forward hours later and you have this

how pretty is this quilt top??

  

{...and guess what? We are still only 50% finished! hehe. Oh, but we get a BEAUTIFUL baby at the end of it don't we!?!}
